The 'repulsive' imperfections of the human skin formed the basis of Maghalie’s work. Using a vast array of techniques and materials – a perfect blend of craftsmanship and technology – she transformed these imperfections into an attractive body of work that is rich in colour, structure, and texture.

One aspect of the resulting work consists of a range of finished products including silk scarves, interior textiles, knitted and woven pieces, and much more. She also created a library of materials, photographs, and prototypes to serve both as an integral part of the end result and as the foundation on which the rest of the work takes shape. The essence of the collection is recorded in the imagery of Maghalie’s inspiration book. It tells the story behind the work and aims to spark the next cycle of creation.
