These Terms & Conditions outline the framework under which Studio Maghalie Dooms provides its services and collaborates with clients.
They clarify responsibilities, project procedures, intellectual property rights, and payment conditions to ensure transparency and a professional working relationship. By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms described on this page.

  • These terms and conditions apply to all services, proposals, agreements and invoices issued by Studio Maghalie Dooms.

    By commissioning services or confirming a proposal, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

    Any deviation from these terms must be agreed upon in writing.

  • Studio Maghalie Dooms provides services including but not limited to:

    Creative direction
    Design consultancy
    Product design
    Concept development
    Material and colour consultancy
    Visual strategy
    Brand and spatial concepts
    Creative supervision of projects

    All services are delivered with the highest professional care and according to the standards of the design industry.

  • Proposals remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

    An agreement is considered concluded once the client confirms a proposal in writing or when work on the project has commenced.

    Studio Maghalie Dooms reserves the right to decline assignments without stating reasons.

  • The client agrees to provide all necessary information, materials and feedback required for the execution of the project.

    Project timelines are indicative unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

    Delays caused by incomplete information, late feedback or requested modifications may lead to adjustments in planning and pricing.

  • All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

    Invoices are payable within 14 days from the invoice date.

    In case of late payment, statutory interest may be charged in accordance with Belgian legislation on late payment in commercial transactions.

    Studio Maghalie Dooms reserves the right to suspend ongoing work if invoices remain unpaid.

    For larger projects, invoicing may occur in phases or according to project progress.

  • Studio Maghalie Dooms reserves the right to display and publish completed work, project images, designs and related materials for portfolio, publication and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • All concepts, designs, drawings, visuals, texts, presentations and creative work produced by Studio Maghalie Dooms remain the intellectual property of Studio Maghalie Dooms until full payment of the related invoices.

    Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client receives a license to use the delivered work for the intended project.

    Reproduction, modification or distribution of the work outside the agreed scope is not permitted without written permission.

    Studio Maghalie Dooms reserves the right to publish completed work for portfolio, publication and promotional purposes unless agreed otherwise.

  • All concepts, ideas, strategies, visual directions, design proposals and presentations developed by Studio Maghalie Dooms remain the intellectual property of Studio Maghalie Dooms, even if they are presented prior to the conclusion of a formal agreement.

    Concepts, proposals or creative directions presented during meetings, consultations or presentations may not be used, reproduced, shared or implemented without written consent from Studio Maghalie Dooms.

    If a client decides not to proceed with a project after receiving concept proposals or strategic direction, the client may not use or adapt these concepts in any form without prior written agreement.

  • Studio Maghalie Dooms shall only be liable for direct damages resulting from proven negligence.

    In any case, liability is limited to the value of the services invoiced for the specific project.

    Studio Maghalie Dooms cannot be held responsible for indirect damages, consequential damages or damages caused by third parties involved in the project.

  • If a project is cancelled by the client, all work performed up to that point will be invoiced.

    Costs already incurred or committed on behalf of the project remain payable.

  • Studio Maghalie Dooms shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

    Such circumstances include but are not limited to natural events, illness, technical failures or third party disruptions.

  • These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
    Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kortrijk, Belgium.
